After Worship on Sabbath*: 
Prayer Ministry is inviting you to pray after worship each Sabbath, and is open to anyone who feels a need to call on God. When the Holy Spirit moves upon your heart during the worship service, Oasis wants to be available to you for prayer. We are His servants in prayer, called to pray with you and for you.

4 Ways to be Involved with Prayer at Oasis

1.  Urgent Intercession Members
  • requires the least time; is "as needed"
  • must have "texting" ability on your phone
  • open to any adult member of Oasis who is committed to praying when texted, maintaining confidentiality for emergencies that arise.
2.  Prayer Bible Study
  • designed for those desiring to develop a basic practice of prayer that leads to a prayerful lifestyle.
  • open to anyone with the desire to learn more about prayer through scripture and commit to what is learned.
  • designed for weekly meeting participation and home study with monthly prayer experiences.
  • prays over public requests submitted to the whole Oasis family.
3.  Prayer Warriors
  • For existing Prayer Warriors of Oasis
  • Self-directed students of prayer and personal Bible study
  • Must be an active member of Oasis
  • Will intercede for private requests, the specific needs of Oasis, public requests as led, and the church as a whole, will maintain complete confidentiality
  • May volunteer if led for after church prayer for anyone who comes forward for spiritual needs
  • Invited to serve in church wide prayer events to facilitate opportunities for others to experience prayer.

4. Intercessor Circle
  • for the most dedicated prayer warriors
  • for self-directed students of prayer and personal Bible study
  • must be an active member of Oasis
  • will participate in weekly intercessions meetings--short & focused
  • will intercede for private requests, the specific needs of Oasis, public requests as led, and the church as a whole; will maintain complete confidentiality
  • will participate in prayer retreats and other team building experiences
  • will join with the Prayer Team once a month for "experiences"
  • will serve in church wide prayer events to facilitate opportunities for others to experience prayer.
